Persian Borage Flower or as it is known as Gol-gav-zaban is a natural herb organically grown in Iran. Persian borage flowers are pink when fresh and much larger than the blue, star-shaped flowers of ordinary borage.
Once naturally sun-dried they turn into a deep vibrant blue. The hue of this flower is as enticing as its sweet-honey-like taste.
In Persian Culture, these dried flowers have been traditionally used as a herbal tea remedy for centuries. It is believed that this tea relives cold & flu symptoms or rheumatoid arthritis and kidney inflammation.
It is also believed to be warm in nature and alleviates symptoms that are caused by using food that is cold in nature such as cucumber and fish.
